How Often Should You Post On Your Business Blog?

If you’ve been blogging for a while now, you have probably been informed that you need to blog EVERY SINGLE DAY. This first advice can be daunting if you haven’t dedicated a lot of time to writing in some capacity before. Every single day isn’t necessarily the best advice either. Just because it works for other companies, it doesn’t mean it will work for you.

The good news is that writing content every day isn’t necessarily the key to a successful blog. Some of the most successful blogs run off a blog a month or less in some cases.There are a few keys to ensuring your blog is a success regardless of the frequency. It is important that you focus on writing quality content that is both relevant and brings value to your audience. Incorporating quality, pertinent and valuable content for your audience will ensure that your business blog is a hit amongst your readers.

There is no magic formula for the frequency that is required to increase your audience faster or receive higher levels of exposure. The best way to approach blogging is to find a consistent schedule that works for you. Finding a schedule that works for you is crucial whether that is once a week, twice a week or once a fortnight. A schedule that allows you to do it without becoming a hassle means you will be better positioned to create good content.

Too much focus is put on how often we should be posting opposed to the quality of the content you are putting out for your readers. Putting out three good pieces of valuable content is much more important than putting out ten pieces that would be considered half-hearted attempts of a blog.

Post quality content, make it relevant, make sure it brings value to the reader and you should be on the way to successful blog.
